Again, as you will find on so many of these pages, this is a work in progress. These are some hyperlinks that we know about that pertain to our era in "dusty lusty Lubbock." There are surely others. If you know of any, please contact us. We want to include as many as possible.

Georgina Long Bow:

Pink Lemon Twist
Any knitters in our group? Georgina Long Bow has been selected as 2008 designer for the "Yahoo Mystery Stole Project." Her pattern will be free and participants just have to buy their yarn. Literally thousands of people participate in this project every year. If it sounds like fun to you, look for information on Pink Lemon Twist. (The web site and the knitting shop are run by Georgina's daughter who spins her yarn from sheep's wool herself.)

Terry Allen (A Fan Site)
There's a lot of interesting stuff in this site, but it's hard to read. So many amateur web builders use color combinations, busy backgrounds, etc. that make their site hard on the eyes. We wish they would all take up Zen.

We recognized that Land's End Santa. In addition he has designed two Rolling Stone (the magazine) covers. Does that count as getting your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone?

The Flatlanders
This one takes a while to load, but be patient. It's worth the wait. You can listen to a lot of interesting things on this site, including the Flatlanders' visit to A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. There's also another review by the New York Times. Theoretically one can listen to the entire first album by the Flatlanders on this site, but we've never had the patience to jump through all the hoops to do it, so we just bought it on Amazon.com.
